The
Huckleberry Days Art Festival is a carnival of the wonderful native purple
fruit; the annual wild huckleberry harvest is the subject for music and
amusement and an art fair. Held in downtown Whitefish, this three-day yearly
event has arts and crafts, bake-off contest, beer garden and much family fun.
Restaurants offer signature huckleberry flavored drinks, entrees and desserts
in honor of the grizzly bears' much loved food.
This Art
Festival is with over 100 artists & food vendors and all the events take
place in/around Depot Park, Whitefish. Come down and take pleasure in a
huckleberry cook-off too. You can taste huckleberry flavored drinks, entrees
and dessert at any of the local eating establishments. This is an occasion
meant to make the mind, body and the palate happy.
