Huckleberry Days

The huckleberry is the grizzly bears' favorite food. In honor of this delectable eatable, Whitefish Montana celebrates Huckleberry Days each fall.  The annual huckleberry harvest has become the reason to celebrate with music and entertainment.

Event Details:
The 21st annual Huckleberry Days Arts Festival is August 13-15, 2010 at Depot Park (Railway St. & Central Ave.) in Whitefish. With over 100 vendors of fine arts and great food, the festival includes a ½ block jumping tent, entertainment and a huckleberry dessert bake-off contest.
Festival hours:  Friday, 11:30 am-6:30 pm, Saturday 10 am-6 pm, and Sunday 10 am-5 pm.

Huckleberry Days Art Festival

The Huckleberry Days Art Festival is a celebration of the fabulous native purple fruit, the annual wild huckleberry harvest is the theme for music and entertainment and an art fair. Held in downtown Whitefish, this three-day annual event features arts and crafts, bake-off contest, beer garden and lots of family fun. Restaurants offer signature huckleberry flavored drinks, entrees and desserts in honor of the grizzly bears' favorite food.
